Hello
2011
The project consists in repurposing a technological tool, the GPS, in order to establish a dialogue with the tool itself. The continued use of certain technologies such as GPSs in devices increasingly widespread (especially in these mini-computers that have become mobile phones) generates information continuously, which is accumulated and stored in servers available to anyone able to access them. If anyone wants to make use of the data, they will interpret it as signs of a certain type of behavior. The project aims to subvert this relationship like a game, making these signs significant in and of themselves, by using a GPS to write/draw/map the words "Hi" and "Hello", which interpellate directly to anyone who wants to use this data, returning the ball and putting on record this physical journey by taking photos of the vertices.
